Our focus is to help people with diabetes lead healthier, happier lives. That’s why we’re dedicated to developing life-changing technology that will provide glucose readings faster, and with less inconvenience, to help people take charge of their diabetes. We understand that consistent and accurate glucose results are critical for any diabetes management plan. Together, we can provide people with the education and diabetes management tools they need to help them make better choices every day and live active, healthy lives. Abbott is dedicated to developing innovative products that make glucose testing easier and more accurate. Our systems and mobile apps offer a range of features to meet the specific needs of people living with diabetes. At our Witney UK facility we employ over 1000 people in the design, development, and manufacture of our life-changing diabetes care products.

How we will be involved with National Manufacturing Day:

We will be opening our doors between 4pm and 8pm so that you can learn more about what we do and experience our wold class facility. Following a short registration, you will be taken on a short tour of our blood glucose test strip manufacturing process. Following this you will arrive to a small expo where our talented team members will be on hand to tell you more about what we do and why we do it. Families are especially welcome and we will have volunteers on hand with some fun activities to engage children in STEM. Refreshments will be on offer.
