About us

We are a manufacturer of performance textile products. These are Items that are used in a huge variety of applications, from finished products such as bags for the blue light services through to components such as filters for datacentres. We design, cut, sew and weld fabrics to create products that ere used by consumers and businesses in many sectors.

How we will be involved with National Manufacturing Day:

We are opening our doors to Design Technology Students from Netherthorpe School, our local secondary school who we will be inviting to witness the process of making products they may have used in day-to-day life. We will be encouraging students to learn about opportunities on their doorstep to consider a career in manufacturing. We have planned a full day of activities for NMD and, in collaboration with the Heads of Design and Technology, we have created a programme for their Y11 & Y12 Students. Each year group will come for a ½ day session, and we will start with a factory tour and presentation, then we will be doing a ‘Manufacturing Challenge’. This will involve splitting the group into teams, and each team will then be given a set of materials, instructions (and a supervisor) and will attempt to make a sewn product. We will conclude each session with a fun prizegiving for best/ worst/ most imaginative/ etc. solutions.
